MASTER CARPENTER: Available immediately - Permanent seasonal position from late August through April (36 weeks), with competitive salary and generous benefits. University Productions the central producer for the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance, is seeking an experienced Master Carpenter. Responsibilities include direct oversight of scenery construction and supervision of load -in and load outs. Strong construction skills in both wood and metal are necessary. Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is helpful. Strong organizational and supervisory skills are essential. Experience working in theatre, musical theatre, dance and opera is a plus.
