Full-time Technical Director Regis College Fine Arts Center Responsible for the management of all technical activities and usage of the Fine Arts Center performance and production areas. Essential job functions include the determination of technical and scheduling requirements for all events including the Center’s Performance Series. Preserves a safe working environment and smooth transitions between events. Maintains technical systems including lighting, audio, rigging, and production equipment. Manages all lighting and audio needs for Fine Arts Center presentations. Prepares facility performance and exhibition spaces for all events. Manages quality of visual presentations and performance operations. Serves as technical liaison for the Center and overall production coordinator for events. Hires, trains, and manages student staff and PT employees, as necessary, in preparation and execution of all events. Options to teach technical theatre course(s) and design and provide technical direction for Theatre Department productions. Qualifications: Proficiency with ETC lighting systems, audio recording/playback, stage mechanics, rigging, and scene construction. Working knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, VectorWorks and VectorWorks Spotlight a plus. BA in Theatre with specialization in design/production. Three years post-graduate experience in similar setting. Salary commensurate with experience.
